Solar-powered "Tiffin Walla", Soho Road's sister food truck, serves up authentic Indian dishes that happen to be gluten free and vegan. This is the type of cuisine that co-owner Ronica Mund says she and her mom cook at home in India. Think vegetarian sabji, channa masala, yellow moong daal and aloo gobi. Everything is made from scratch, including the masala and freshly ground spice mixes. Portions are not huge, but they are extremely flavorful.

The ever-popular Breakfast Restaurant Yolk's got its start out on the streets of Vancouver. Try their perfectly poached free-range egg sandwiches with a truffle-lemon hashbrown skewer on the side. Wash it down with fresh-squeezed OJ or hot chocolate made with the best possible choc - Callebaut!

This might be one of the funkiest - and loudest (they've got TUNES!) food trucks around. Try their tacos or Lumpias (the Filipino version of an egg roll) for a snack. This is Filipino Fusion at its most creative.

Soho Road Naan Kebab

Here, the naan bread is the star. Soho Road is unique amongst food trucks in Vancouver in that it has a built-in tandoor oven. Steaming hot and chewy, the Naan is wrapped around the fillings and sauce of your choice - the spicy and filling veg sabji is my favourite.
