“Cafe Orso” Brings Liege Waffles, 49th Parallel Espresso and More Goodness to Deep Cove

Deep Cove is home to a beautiful brand new coffee house called Cafe Orso, and it’s a perfect destination for your post-Quarry Rock hiking treat.

Just a block up from the water on Gallant, this independently owned, italian-inspired cafe / eatery serves 49th Parallel espresso, waffles made fresh in-house, fresh-baked Nelson the Seagull bread, Chez Christophe croissants, To Die For Banana Bread and Lemon Loaf, local artisan charcuterie plates, cheese from Farm House Natural Cheeses and more.

With its modern design, by co-owner Lori Steeves herself, I’d say this is easily the most stylish space in the neighborhood. And with passionate co-owner Johnny Hayward at the helm, you can bet everything to grace this menu was sourced carefully — he is all about quality, local ingredients.

Cafe Orso will be open seven days a week from 8am-5pm.
