“Devour Kelowna” Celebrates Local Food, Wine and Cocktails

Spring is just around the corner…and warmer months mean the beginning of “local getaway season”. If you need an excuse to plan a trip, Devour Kelowna, a culinary showcase featuring some of the best wine, cocktails and food of the Okanagan is happening this Saturday, March 7th.

This  one day event is centered around a competition between some of the Okanagan’s top chefs. Who’s judging? You, the guests, as well as a panel including myself, Michelle Lucas Larving, Assistant Food Editor from Chatelaine and Jackie Kai Ellis of Beaucoup Bakery.

Participating chefs will include Rod Butters from Raudz, Roger Sleiman of Quails Gate, Mission Hill’s Chris Stewart and Jason Leizert from Salted Brick.

Devour Kelowna takes place at Okanagan College’s Center For Learning on Saturday, March 7th from 7-10pm and you can buy tickets online at devourkelowna.ca.
