Easy Espresso Oatmeal Energy Balls

Mix-up your morning snack with these delicious, easy-to-make caffeinated bites. They’re packed with great calories and protein to help ward off hunger.


1 c. oats
1/2 c. peanut butter (Try Bare Butter)
1/3 c. agave syrup
1/4 c. wheat bran
2 tbsp. finely ground espresso
1 tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. Himalayan salt
1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins
2 tsp. vanilla


  1. Dump everything together in a big bowl and mix
  2. Roll into bite-sized balls. Yields: 9
  3. Eat up! Store remaining bites in an airtight container in the fridge
  4. Double the recipe so they last for a week
  5. If you need an extra kick, dunk your bites in espresso to coat the exterior – zing!
