Edible Offerings at The West Coast Christmas Show 2014

If the West Coast Christmas Show & Marketplace is an annual event you look forward to, be reminded, it’s coming up from November 21st to the 23rd at the Tradex Trade & Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford. Besides gifts, jewelry and toys, expect a slew of specialty foods to discover including gift items from local artisans.

New this year are handcrafted sodas and cocktail syrups from frostbites, who makes their liquid offerings with BC fruits, herbs and spices.

A returning favourite is Sweet Thea Cakes, who makes all of her traditional European Christmas baking locally in Langley, as well as La Chocolaterie whose colorful, smooth-textured treats make for a great gift.

Cookbook author Gwendolyn Richards will be making an appearance on the Home for the Holidays Stage. She recently authored Pucker, a cookbook for citrus lovers, and will share host duties with Omega Crunch blogger, Kelly Beswitherick aka Kitchen Caleigh.

Tickets are just $6 at the door or $5 for adults online and admission is free for kids age 16 and under.
