Bella Gelateria Prepares to Divulge Gelato-Making Secrets at Gelato 101

Have any gelato-obsessed friends? I might have the absolute perfect Christmas gift idea for you.

Award-winning Bella Gelateria, known for serving “world’s best gelato”, is launching a series of Gelato 101 classes. Owner James Coleridge, better known as “The Godfather of Gelato”, is the winner of five international awards, including the 2014 International Gelato Master of the year.

James of one of his gelato maestros will teach the one-and-a-half-hour long sessions, which will be focused on old-world gelato-making techniques using mainly local ingredients to create dense, smooth product with minimal air injected.

A ticket to Gelato 101, which costs $60, buys your admission, a custom apron, a certificate of graduation and a half litre take-home container of gelato.

Bella Gelateria’s December classes are sold out, but extra classes in January have been added.
