Here’s my easy Banana Nut Smoothie recipe which is perfect for the busy person who’s focused on shaking off summer’s indulgences and getting back into a healthy routine…
1 c. Silk Unsweetened Almond
1 scoop Vega One (use Natural, if you prefer less sweet and French Vanilla if you have a bit of a sweet tooth)
1 1/2 frozen bananas
1 1/2 tbsp. nut butter (I used creamy hazelnut butter)
- In the base of your cup, add nut butter (if desired).
- In a high-powered blender, combine Silk Unsweetened Almond, Vega One and frozen banana and blend until silky smooth.
- Add smoothie to your glass, swirl and enjoy!
*Note: this smoothie is a perfect base to build on — its flavours will pair well with almost anything else you want to add in, like other fruits and leafy greens.
