To Die For Fine Foods is on the hunt for a long-term baker’s assistant with kitchen experience who will eventually be trained for baking duties. Shifts will be Monday – Friday 2pm-6pm…but depending on the number of orders, you may be required to stay later (max shift = 8 hrs) so a flexible schedule is required.
Our ideal team member is trustworthy, highly efficient with a sense of urgency, has a positive can-do attitude. We bake out of a commissary kitchen with a lot of different vendors where we share equipment — being aware of your working environment and considerate of other vendors is key, we want to create a healthy happy place for everyone!
Duties will include prepping ingredients (peeling bananas, chopping nuts, preparing icing), assisting baker (icing lemon loaves, garnishing banana bread, using Hobart mixer, scooping batter, wrapping loaves, packing loaves / preparing for deliveries, cleaning, and any other duties needed by the baker).
A little about us: we’re a small, locally-owned company with high standards and a focus on quality ingredients. Our philosophy is quality over quantity. Banana Bread and Lemon Loaf are our specialty…and we’re in the midst of transition our loaves to not include animal products.
