Minimalist Baker Is Coming to Vancouver!!!

It’s safe to say I don’t remember ever being this excited for a cooking event…

My all-time favourite cookbook author and recipe blogger, Dana Shultz aka Minimalist Baker, is coming to Vancouver!! I’m thrilled to be hosting the event with her and her partner in crime, hubby John, at Nourish Cafe and Cooking School on Thursday, August 4th, 2016.

The soiree will be composed of an intimate cooking demo for thirty guests (buy tickets here) followed by a book signing which is open to all (NO TICKET REQUIRED – JUST SHOW UP!).

In the slim chance you’re unfamiliar with Dana, she’s the author of the popular food blog, known for its plant-based recipes requiring 30 minutes or less, 1 bowl or 1 pot, or 10 ingredients or less to prepare. The Portland-dweller has recently launched Minimalist Baker’s Everyday Cooking, the highly anticipated cookbook which includes 101 brand new vegan recipes and is designed with the same simple, appealing approach that has made the blog such a sensation.

At the event, Dana and I will demo two recipes which our 30 guests will get to enjoy. Have questions for Dana? Ask away! The demo will be casual and fully interactive. A book signing will follow the hour-long demo — tickets are not required for this portion. And thanks to The Juice Truck for providing cold-pressed refreshments for all guests!
