Vancouver’s list of “cool coffee houses” continues to expand with Propaganda, the latest worthy-of-mention cafe to open its doors in our fine city. Run by a young team of passionate industry veterans, namely William Wang and Winfield Yan, expect to drink nothing but locally roasted brew from their espresso, pourover and drip coffee methods.
Located at 209 East Pender in Chinatown, their spacious, modern room seats 30. And with complimentary wifi, Propaganda is an ideal location for an afternoon coffee and work session.
When I visited, locally-roasted Elysian beans were on the drip machine; other local roasters of choice include Pallet and Timbertrain. Aside from croissants, much of their baking will be done in-house: choose from cookies, muffins, short bread and more.
Propaganda Coffee is open seven days a week and it’s an absolute must-visit for coffee-loving Vancouverites.
