Vancouver’s coffee scene is continuing to blow up. Here are two new cafes you must check out.
Pallet Coffee Roasters has just opened in the Hastings Sunrise Neighborhood…and these guys have their beans in a row. Co-owners Sharif and Shane have gained years of industry experience working at the best cafes in town. They’re roasting their own beans — a process that’ll be visible to customers from the wood-walled cafe floor — and they’ll serve single origin coffees, five roasts, and an espresso, available from the slow bar or their shiny new la marzocco strada espresso machine.
Another new spot to check out is Momento Coffee House’s second location (pictured above) on Great Northern Way. It’s night and day from their small Kitsilano location with it’s expansive ground floor and second level. Decorated with collectors and vintage items, it’s a total stunner. There’s a story being every accessory and piece of furniture owners Rick and Dominique have chosen. As for the coffee, it’s as solid as what they’ve been serving on 4th Ave for years.
