Nominations Now open for The Western Canadian Notable Awards

A first-of-its kind movement is underway across British Columbia and Alberta. Hundreds of young professionals from over 30 different fields are being nominated for recognition of their professional dedication and community devotion at the first-ever Western Canada Notable Awards.

Hosted by Founder, award-winning 30 year old entrepreneur Mr. Julian Brass, theWestern Canada Notable Awards are currently in the midst of an online public nomination period where British Columbia and Alberta-based residents are nominating BC and AB-based young adults to be recognized by the entire country on The Western Canada Notable Awardscelebrates young professionals that are the key drivers for improving and fostering growth in their companies, industries and communities all across Western Canada.

Western Canadians are invited to nominate young professionals at now and the nomination closing date – 6:00pm PST, October 24th, 2014. Past winners include a cross-section of some of Canada’s leading entrepreneurs from fashion, business, advertising, e-commerce, sports and fitness, including the founder of cult fashion label Mackage,Eran Elfassy; founder of PÜR Gum Jay Klien; Creator of Motionball, Paul Etherington; and Ethan Song, Co-Founder of menswear line Frank & Oak. Award categories range from Architecture and Real Estate to Best Blog, Best Online Business, Best Not for Profit and more. After initial nominations have been received, the next phase in the Western Canada Notable Awardsis an online public vote where thousands of Western Canadians will cast their vote on which 30 young professionals they think deserves to win an award. Once up to three finalists have been determined in each category,, along with a final judging committee consisting of established professionals representing the various categories will select the eventual recipients.

On November 12th, the Awards will culminate at the Imperial in Vancouver in a star-studded Notable Awards ceremony where will shine a spotlight on BC and Alberta’s top young professionals, unveiling and celebrating the Western Canada Notable Awards winners at an event hosted by Julian Brass with many other celebrities and business moguls expected to attend.
