Small Victory in Yaletown: Vancouver’s Most Anticipated New Bakery

Yaletown’s got a brand new bakery and boy, is it a sight for sore eyes. Small Victory boasts sprawling marble counters, an open concept prep area and gold embossed coffee creamer taps. It truly is unlike any other bakery in Vancouver.

This family owned business’s concept is simple: bread and coffee. They currently offer six different types of bread, one of which is made with four different flours and left to ferment for 40 hours. Another version that’s currently in the works contains naturally leavened rye, seeds and dark beer.

Enjoy Small Victory’s breads in the form of a sandwich, as toast or take a whole loaf home. If you do, note the impeccable packaging — it’s as beautiful as the bread itself and makes for a great hostess gift.

As for coffee, Small Victory will rotate their beans to offer a variety of the most popular artisanal products around. To launch, Bows and Arrows was their brew. A wide variety of desserts are also on offer (brownies, cookies, muffins, cakes and more).
