On Sunday, June 28th, The Acorn Restaurant and Kanazawa Wines are teaming up to create an exclusive dining experience aptly named Vintage+Veg. 36 lucky guests will be treated to a five-course dinner with wine pairings at Vancouver’s most popular vegetarian eatery. Chefs Robert Clarke + Brian Luptak will be creating unique, one-night-only menu items to pair specifically with Kanazawa’s summer wine selections and other award winning vintages.
The single seating event begins at 7pm and runs throughout the evening. Tickets are $95 (tax included) and can be purchased at the restaurant or over the phone (604-566-9001) with a credit card.
Richard Kanazawa is a wine maker based out of Naramata, BC. After seven years of creating award-winning wines for Blasted Church and Red Rooster, Kanazawa launched his own boutique label and has continued pushing the conventions of wine making with extraordinary results.
The Acorn is a completely vegetarian restaurant that caters enthusiastically to vegan, gluten free, and raw diets. After opening its doors in the summer of 2012, it was listed in En Route Magazine’s top 10 Best New Canadian Restaurants of 2013 – The only vegetarian restaurant to ever receive the honour – as well as garnering praise from The New York Times, Huffington Post, and CNN.
