Owner and Chef Steve Ewing’s concept is genius. His menu, which is centred around building the perfect breakfast sammy, is like a choose-your-own-adventure book starting with the meat. Options include double smoked bacon, hand-carved honey ham and portobello mushrooms.
Then, choose your quantity of poached free-range eggs and the bread. Steve offers English muffins and organic gluten free buns from East Village Bakery (which are amazing). You can also go bunless and have your eggs on truffle lemon hashbrowns, which are also incredible. Your last choice is whether to add Okanagan goat cheese to your toppling creation. Whichever breakfast sandwich adventure you choose, they are all seriously delicious.
