Rated the top hotel in Canada by Condé Nast Traveler readers, the Loden is the only hotel in the country to land on the “Top 100 Hotels & Resorts In the World” list
The Loden Hotel has been named the #1 hotel in Western Canada by the coveted Condé Nast Traveler 2014 Readers’ Choice Awards. The Loden’s winning score of 92.738 was the highest rating earned by any Canadian hotel, and also propelled Loden to the 81st spot in this year’s “Top 100 Hotel & Resorts in the World” category. The Loden was the only hotel in Canada to be recognized with a “Top 100” distinction.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and the most prestigious recognitions for excellence in the travel industry. This year, more than 76,600 dedicated readers cast votes for 7,721 hotels, 642 cities, 453 cruise ships, and 148 islands. Individual candidates were judged on a set of criteria relevant to their category, based on a standard five-point scale: excellent, very good, good, fair, and poor. The mean average of these ratings determined the final Readers’ Rating score.
