Last week, BC Tree Fruits generously dropped off some beautiful local apples in celebration of Apple Month (February). There were so many recipes I wanted to try (these ten in particular), but I ended up going with Apple Cinnamon Nut Butter, a great recipe by Oh She Glows (one of my favourite sites for healthy recipes).
Here’s what else I added to this morning’s oatmeal.
Oatmeal (I zap 1/2 c. oats with 1 c. water in the microwave for 3min30sec)
Sliced BC Apple
Apple Cinnamon Nut Butter (which I’d made ahead of time)
1 tsp. cinnamon
Handful of coconut ribbons
2 tbsp. dried cranberries
2 tbsp. chopped pecans
Splash almond milk
