To Die For Breakfast: Banana Cherry Pecan Oatmeal

It’s so great we in BC are finally observing family day as a holiday. Who else is looking forward to the long weekend?! Hopefully this time spent with loved ones will motivate us to plan even more time together instead of waiting for designated “days off”. There is nothing more important in this world than family!

Here’s the recipe for today’s rich but healthy TGIF oatmeal bowl.


1 sliced banana
1/2 c. cherries (don’t hate me — I was craving summer and CRACKED by buying a small back of organic frozen)
2 tbsp. chopped pecans
1 tbsp. cacao nibs
1/2 tsp. maca powder
1 tbsp. raw creamed honey
Drizzle of coconut peanut butter
Splash of chocolate almond milk or light coconut milk

Smoothie Recipe:

1 sliced frozen banana
1 big handful organic baby spinach
1 tbsp. almond butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. Vega Omega Oil Blend
1 c. almond milk
