To Die For Breakfast with Banana Muffin Tops

Just when I thought I couldn’t be “more blown away” by Angela Liddon’s Oh She Glows Recipes…I made her Banana Muffin Tops. And wow, instantly they have become my new favourite breakfast treat. You should make these this weekend. If you like yours crispy, like I do, bake them for ten minutes longer than the recipe calls for.

Here’s the loosey goosey recipe for my oatmeal (I don’t measure…hands are the best “cups and tablespoons”).

Oatmeal of your choice
1 banana (sliced)
4 prunes
Handful of chopped pecans
Sprinkle of hemp seeds
Sprinkle of cacao nibs
Sprinkle of pumpkin seeds
Dash of nutmeg
Splash of light coconut or almond milk
Spoonful of raw creamed honey (I used Honeybee Centre)
A plop of Banana Muffin Top dough (leftover from last night…it is SO good)
