On February 27, 2015, Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods will open the doors to a new, 60-seat, fully-licensed restaurant serving lunch and dinner, seven days a week in the historic Marine Building. Conveniently located near the waterfront’s business and hospitality district at 335 Burrard Street, Tractor Marine is extending its concept for quick, healthy eating and catering to downtown Vancouver.
Locally owned and operated by Meghan and Steve Clarke, Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods offers a simple and satisfying menu of salads, sandwiches, soups and stews made with nutritious ingredients without compromising flavour. Served in an efficient, inviting, cafeteria-style format, Tractor allows customers a front row seat to see and select exactly what they are getting – fresh, healthy, natural foods.
Having come to Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods from the corporate world, the Clarkes know the downtown business community is hungry for quick and healthy meals and catering options. The iconic Marine Building setting well positions Tractor to provide its signature offerings to office dwellers, downtown residents and visitors alike, ensuring that healthy eating can, and should, be part of everyday life.
The new restaurant occupies 2,100 square feet of space in the historic Marine Building at the corner of Burrard and Cordova. An icon of downtown Vancouver, the Marine Building was built in 1930 and is renowned for its Art Deco details. Tractor Marine is a beautiful, bright space featuring an original, domed, floor-to-ceiling window compliments of the building’s heritage architecture as well as a custom-designed light fixture which will be signature to the restaurant.
