White Spot Pirate Pak Day: Eat For The Kids

by erinireland on August 12, 2010

Grilled cheese, fries, strawberry ice cream, orange pop, and of course, the treasured gold coin that felt as valuable as real money.  Ring a bell?  Served in a cardboard ship (that looked nothing like the new version pictured below), my White Spot Pirate Pak was a special treat often shared with my Granny Betty.

On August 18th, all White Spot Restaurants will participate in the Pirate Pak Day Fundraiser. Two dollars from each Pirate Pak sold will be donated to Zajac Ranch for Children, which hosts children with disabilities and serious illnesses who may not get the chance to enjoy a summer camp experience.

Next Wednesday, join me in supporting Zajac Ranch by heading to the White Spot nearest you and reminiscing about your grandparents (who most likely favored the legendary restaurant like mine) over a boatful of food.  Check back next Thursday to see this millennium’s Pak options.

Ciao for now.
