I’m hoping to meet many of you in person this Saturday at the PNE, where we’ll be deep frying “It’s To Die For Banana Bread” at the Pennsylvania Dutch Funnel Cakes Booth!

A quick demo for you:

As a little incentive, the PNE and I are offering four free tickets to the The Fair at the PNE, along with a loaf of “It’s To Die For Banana Bread” for each winner. To be clear, there will be four individual winners.

To enter, complete one of the following (you’ll receive extra entries for multiple submissions):

  • Post your thoughts about “It’s To Die For Banana Bread” being deep fried at the PNE to your Facebook wall, and tag either my page or the banana bread’s page, so that I may record your entry.
  • Post this link (my post about the deep fried BB) to your Facebook page — and again, make sure to tag me or the banana bread’s page so I can record your entry.
  • Write a short blog post about the deep fried banana bread, which is the first of its kind in Western Canada. Let me know if you need more info!
  • Pledge to me that you’ll stop by on Saturday and take some pics, which you’ll then either post to Facebook, Twitter, or your blog (please tag me so that I’m aware of your post). This one’s on the honor system!
The winner will be announced on Friday morning at 9am.
I’ll be leaving the frying in the hands of the experts, and will be at the PNE all day. Hope to see many of you on Saturday!
Wishing you good luck in this contest,
Erin
