Yew Restaurant is known for their Ocean Wise seafood, but their new cocktail list is reason alone to visit the Four Seasons Hotel for a meal and a sip.
Award-winning cocktail innovator Lauren Mote is behind Yew’s new approach to cocktails, which are inspired by the world’s five oceans and designed to pair with Chef Ned Bell’s sustainable seafood dishes.
The new cocktail menu features sixteen concoctions, and they’re intended to inspire conversation about the current state of our oceans and ways we can help ensure these bodies of water are healthy for generations to come.
Upon sampling Lauren’s new cocktails menu, it was hard to pick a favourite, but the Skookum-chuk stood out with ingredients like Granville Island Sake, fino sherry, aperol, kaffir lime leaf, lemongrass and clingstone peach bitters. Another must-try is the 12 Apostles with vanilla bean infused white rum, mango, kaffir lime leaf, lemongrass and egg white.
